Betty Jane (Lindquist) Dallman

North Oaks, Minnesota

She is survived by children Janet (Bruce) Johnson of Apple Valley, Jerry of White Bear Lake, Carol (Paul Cousin) of St. Paul, and Sally (Craig) McCarney of Princeton, eight grandchildren, sister Marilyn Kirkness of Nampa ID, and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by husband, Jack and brothers John and Robert. Betty was born in Minneapolis to Arthur and Ruth Lindquist.

She graduated from Washburn High School. She worked as a secretary for the YMCA in Minneapolis and Cleveland, Ohio, where she met fellow Minnesotan Jack Dallman. They married in 1954 and moved to Cloquet in 1955. Betty devoted the rest of her life to caring for her family. She was active in community organizations: the Cloquet Police Commission, League of Women Voters, church, and PEO. In retirement, Jack and Betty enjoyed living on Lake Vermilion and being involved in the Cook and Virginia communities. In 2010 Jack and Betty moved to Waverly Gardens in North Oaks to be closer to family.

A service will be held at Waverly Gardens, 5919 Centerville Rd, North Oaks, on Monday, February 9th, at 11:00. Memorials preferred to Optage Hospice.
