Brandon “Brando” Wilde passed away peacefully on June 6th , 2025, at the age of 55 years. He was born on Valentines Day, February 14th, 1970, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
We lost a soulmate, husband, friend, son, brother, and uncle, but we will never lose the joy he brought to all of us.
To remember the man that Brandon Wilde was, is to remember his kindness, humor, hard work and unconditional love.
He was preceded in death by his father, Duane “Dewey” Wilde and brother, Nick Wilde. Brandon is survived by the love of his life and wife, Corinna Wilde; mother, Judith Wilde; brother Wade Wilde (Patricia); and sister, Jody Wilde DeHaan (Dan). He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, godchildren and countless friends who are as close as family.
Brandon grew up on the West End in St Paul in an amazing community, with relationships that he cherished as family.
Early in his career, Brandon worked at Afton Alps and held several jobs in the Old West 7th Street neighborhood, including Hot City Pizza, Dairy Queen and Rocket Billiards - where he mastered his skills and deepened his love for the game. He later transitioned to the concrete industry, where he quickly found his calling. Brandon excelled as a concrete finisher, earning recognition for his exceptional skill, craftsmanship, and strong work ethic.
In 2000, Brandon met Corinna, his one true love and soulmate—and from that moment on, their journey together began. They shared a life full of adventure, traveling far and wide, creating once-in-a-lifetime memories along the way. Together, they embraced the world with open hearts, deep passion, and an unbreakable bond.
Brandon loved life and had a way of lighting up every room with his contagious smile, quick humor, and the joy he so freely shared. His kind heart led him to help others whenever he could, always leaving a meaningful impact on those around him.
He enjoyed experiencing the world through adventure, traveling and exploring including road trips simply taking it all in - the beauty of nature, architecture and joyfully interacting with people everywhere.
Brandon had an eye for beauty not only in the world around him, but also in the places he called home. A most notable feat is the house Brandon built — a true masterpiece born from unwavering determination and grit. Despite facing unimaginable challenges, he persevered with relentless tenacity to create a one-of-a-kind,” Brando Built Home” a testament to his skill, vision, and unbreakable spirit.
Brandon’s passion extended beyond the shore to the open water, where his love for boats—especially super yachts—inspired dreams of conquering the American Great Loop, ever eager for the next great adventure.
He saw life as something to be explored, appreciated, and shared—and in doing so, he left behind a legacy of light, laughter, and genuine connection.
“I have lived in sight of the ocean, where the water runs into land. I have walked on the beach in the morning and left my tracks in the sand. But musical waves have been calling, and the ocean is so wide and vast – That I’ve struck for the silver horizon and put out to sea at last.” Author unknown.
We invite you to join us in celebrating and honoring Brandon’s life on June 20th, 2025. Though we grieve his absence, we find peace in knowing his spirit flows on steady and strong—surrounding us in the rustle of the trees, the warmth of the sun, and the joy he brought to every moment.
