Brent Amundson

Brent Mallory Amundson, age 61, of Colorado Springs, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 in his home.
He was born May 26, 1954 in Marshall, MN the son of Berton Amundson and Mary (Strand) Paulson. Brent graduated from Waseca High School and went on to receive a B.A. in Psychology from Augsburg College. After getting certified as a computer programmer, he worked for Control Data, GE Capital, and US Bank, among others.
From playing trumpet in school to singing in church choirs, he was passionate about music and it was a big part of his life. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing games and was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan. Family and friends meant a lot to him. One of his favorite pastimes was telling stories and jokes to the ones he loved.
Brent is survived by his parents, Berton (Gladys) Amundson, Mary Paulson; sister, Kimberly Luoto; children, Matthew (Kristin) Amundson, Michelle Amundson; step brothers and sisters, Lynette, Murray, Adrienne, Scott; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his step father, Joel Paulson.
