Brian Jones, age 64, passed way with his wife by his side on May 24, 2025.Brian was an amazing man and will be missed by many. He was patient, kind and loving. He had a silly side and had a knack for narrating pets’ thoughts out loud and gave each their own unique voice.
Brian had a heart of gold. He selflessly loved and supported others, quickly diving in to help, even when his own to-do list was miles long. Brian was a faithful and loyal husband who took his wedding vows seriously. He did everything he could to take care of his wife and made every effort to make her happy. Together they would go thrifting, go out to dinner, visit their children and grandchildren and spend time in nature at their seasonal camper positioned on a lake. Brian welcomed and loved his wife’s daughters as his own instantly. He was a wonderful father to them and a wonder grandfather to his five grandchildren. He cherished and enjoyed the time he spent with his family and is leaving them with many wonderful memories.
Brian enjoyed fishing and this was something he was happy to share with his children and grandchildren. Time on the boat meant time with the people he loved and it was time he valued immensely.
If there was a problem, you could count on Brian to be able to find a solution. He could fix or create anything. Brian was a highly skilled welder and machinist and was a dedicated and loyal employee of Limpro Incorporated for over 40 years. He would design, plan for, implement and oversee major projects daily. He built positive relationships with clients who appreciated his commitment to their needs, his attention to detail and the production of quality product. Brian took great pride in his work.
Brian was also a talented woodworker. He and Kari built many projects for their daughters over the years. He was especially proud of the cradles they made, having lovingly turned the spindles by hand. Brian was one of a kind. He was a creative genius!
Brian worked very hard and took little time to rest. He was looking forward to one day retiring and had big plans of adopting a puppy all his own. He planned to spend his golden years with his wife, children and grandchildren…and woodworking, fishing, and relaxing by the lake.
Brian was loved tremendously and his loss is devastating to his family and friends. His family is proud of his many accomplishments and his never-ending devotion to them. Brian will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Brian is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Kari Jones; daughters, Jennifer (Marco) Reich, Jamie (Tyler) Hogen; grandchildren, Mickeegan, Elliana, Rylan, Clara, Evelyn; brothers, Gaylon (Linda) Swenson, Larry (Liz) Jones, Lloyd (Jeanette) Jones, Gordon (Chris) Jones; sister, Susan (Cory) Anderson; aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
