Bruce Francis Clark

Passed away July 24, 2022 at the age of 48 in San Diego, California due to a cerebral hemorrhage.

Bruce was born November 28, 1973, in Rochester, Minnesota to Les and Elaine Clark.  He graduated from Stillwater Area High School in 1991. During his junior and senior high years, he participated in Math Counts, Math Team, UMTYMP, and Boy Scouts, earning his Eagle Scout award in 1991.  He graduated from MIT in 1997 with a BS in Electrical Science and Engineering. For the past 14 years, Bruce worked for Rain Bird Sprinkler Design Division in San Diego, where he was their senior firmware design engineer.  He loved playing his guitar, listening to music, and walking the San Diego trails.  Bruce was an avid Iowa Hawkeye football fan.

Bruce is survived by his parents, Les and Elaine (Kinsinger) Clark and his brother, Jerry Clark

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on August 12 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (1616 Olive St, Stillwater, MN).  Visitation one hour prior.  Luncheon to follow. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls, IA at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bruce to Boy Scouts of America Northernstar Council ( https://www.northernstar.org/give ) or MIT ( https://giving.mit.edu/ ).
