C. Jean Johnson

Age 87, of Stillwater, passed away June 2, 2026.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 65 years, Robert; children, Eric (Kristi) Johnson and Kristin (Patrick) Hoel; grandchildren, Elleanor and Carlton Johnson, and Erik Hoel; sister, Kay Keske; nephews, other family and friends.

Born and raised in Beaver Dam, WI, Jean earned her degree in elementary education from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA. She taught school in Iowa, Colorado and Wisconsin. An accomplished organist, she served as both a church organist and choir director.

After moving to Minnesota, Jean worked for the Hennepin County Library system, including branches in Minnetonka, Excelsior and Southdale, as well as the 3M Company libraries. She dedicated many years to her role as the 3M Law Librarian.

As the wife of a pastor, Jean devoted herself selflessly to serving others. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Jean’s life will be Tuesday, June 16, 2026, 2:00 P.M. at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Memorials are preferred.
