Carol Kay Huber

Age 80, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026. This is exactly eight years to the day of the passing of her beloved husband, Hilmer Huber.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hilmer; son, Doug; parents, Hartrvick and Jennie Anderson; and brother, Duane Anderson.

She will be sadly missed by daughter, Pam (Jeremy) Mohs; grandchildren, Owen and Addison Teply; sister, Beverly Reno; other family and friends who were so important in her life.

Carol was born in North Dakota in 1946 and lived in the small town of Halliday, North Dakota. She grew up attending a one room school house and eventually met her future husband, Hilmer in a neighboring town known as Dodge, ND. They spent many years dancing and having fun together. They eventually married on July 13, 1970 and had two children, Doug and Pam.

Carol worked as a teacher throughout her life starting in Florida, moving to Wisconsin, and ending in the Stillwater School District at Oakland Middle school and finally as a computer lab technician at Bayport Elementary.

She was an amazing cook and loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend to many. She made home feel like home. Her cooking is something that will never be forgotten. She enjoyed spending time playing Bridge, going to coffee and lunch with her friends, and of course spending time with her family.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater with visitation one hour prior to the service.
