Carol, being a farm girl, had a great work ethic. Carol loved her first job at the bakery where she learned to decorate cakes and many other valuable life skills. She transferred the skills she learned farming and baking to future jobs, enjoying 20 plus years of service at Sears until down-sizing lead her to the treasured employment with the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
While she commuted to the cities for work she resided in the Stillwater area for 50 plus years where all of her passions could be joyfully explored. Books and being with people led her to volunteering at the Stillwater Public Library. An active and engaging social life to Croixdale Senior Living complex. Other passions fulfilled were farm life, 4H, the Steele County and Minnesota State Fairs, crafts especially counted cross stitch, classical music including concerts with the gang, baking and nature.
Carol had many joys and she shared them with us. We believe that is how she would want to be remembered, sharing her passions and spreading her joy.
