Catherine Batchelor

Catherine Lee Mary Watson peacefully passed away at home January 19, 2026 at the age of 70. Cathy fought long and hard with cancer for 30 years, and is now Home with our Lord.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Charles Wesley Watson and Betty Jean; and her twin brother, Charles Wesley Junior.
Cathy was married to Julie Scherer. Cathy was also blessed with three children, Justin (Sammantha) Watson, Jeremy (Stephanie) Watson, and Sheena (Jamelle) Sampson; and 11 grandchildren that she loved and adored with her whole heart.
Cathy had a profound faith, she enjoyed arts and crafts, such as diamond art, and spending time with her family and friends. Cathy will be missed immensely, but we know she is safe in the arms of Jesus.
