Cecelia Jean
Age 70, of St. Paul, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was born on September 8, 1943 in McIntosh, South Dakota to Joseph and Marie Rothenbacher. In 1947, the family moved to Rush City, Minnesota where she attended rural Willow Grove Elementary School. She graduated from Rush City High School and began her long time career as a travel agent. She moved to New York City where she had many great adventures and married Rod Skidmore. Later she returned to Minnesota with her daughter, Stacy. She worked as travel agent and manager at AAA Travel for many years doing a job she loved. Cecelia loved her family, friends, traveling, cross word puzzles, playing cards and golf. She traveled throughout the world, frequently with her daughter, Stacy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Stacy Rohrer; her sister, JoAnn Mako, and her brother-in-law, Kenwood Nelson. Cecelia is survived by her two grandchildren, Izabella (12) and Maxine (10) who were her pride and joy; son-in-law, Paul Rohrer; siblings, Doris Nelson, Robert Rothenbacher (Ellen), Carol Rothenbacher (Frank Gallivan), and Terry Rothenbacher (Sue); and by her brother-in-law, Edward Mako. Her loving, extended family includes many nieces and nephews and their spouses and she was blessed with a number of close and devoted friends. Memorial Service Monday, August 4, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Hwy 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear. Visitation one hour prior. Memorials preferred to Watoto Child Care Ministry (www.watoto.com) or to the family.
