Charles Baker Sr.

Charles Baker (Chuck) age 78, died surrounded by family on August 7th.  An avid golfer, fisherman and hunter, Chuck lived a fulfilling life, with careers ranging from book selling, music for the masses and most recently shooting ranges. His most notable roles, though, were loving husband, father, grandfather, and an incredible friend. A lifelong resident of Minneapolis, Chuck enjoyed supporting his alma mater, the University of Minnesota, golfing and skiing with his children, discussing history with his grandchildren, making people laugh, and maintaining close friendships. A superb glass of scotch was never far from hand. His roaring laughter and friendly demeanor will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. He is survived by wife of 56 years Linda; sons, Charlie (Paula), Michael (Sydney); daughter Danelle; grandchildren, Alice, Alek, Oliver, Bentley, Paxton, Linden, Madison (Liam), Jagger, Grayson; great-granddaughter, Georgia. Celebration of life forthcoming. Memorials preferred to Frauenshuh Cancer Center St. Louis Park, or the University of Minnesota.
