Charlie Joe Bardwell

Age 68 of Lake Elmo, MN passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn Norris Bardwell and Victor Bardwell.

He will be sadly missed by his spouse, Michele, sons Cole (fiancée Leah), Chad, and Cristopher; daughter April, sister Vicki, niece Lindsay, and nephew Adam.

Joe was born and raised in West Virginia, as well as spent time in Mississippi when growing up. He graduated from Marshall University and spent his entire sales and marketing career in the food industry, working for Campbell's, Vlasic, Conagra Foods, and T. Marzetti's.

Joe was passionate about music and had an extensive vinyl collection ranging from Southern Rock, R&B, Rock & Roll, Country and Gospel. His favorite time of year was summer, when he could drive around town in his 1976 Ford F-150 or his Harley. In his retirement, he found peace in the quiet mornings waiting for the fish to bite off the coast of Mississippi.

A private family service will be held in April in Mississippi.
