Clara Stotz

Clara Stotz, age 97 of White Bear Lake, MN passed away at Cerenity Care Center on February 26, 2016.
Clara (Eberhart) Stotz was born July 11, 1918 in Eureka, SD to John and Elizabeth Eberhart. The family later moved to a farmstead northeast of McLaughlin, SD. On June 16, 1940 she married Edgar Stotz. They had four children.
Clara raised her children and helped with the farm until they moved in McLaughlin, SD, then she worked at the hospital. They later moved to Rapid City where both Edgar and Clara worked at Rushmore Gold Company. Clara retired to care for her husband. At the age of 90 she moved to Hugo, MN to live with her daughter Marilyn. Three years later she moved to Cerenity Care Center.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Edgar, son Donald Stotz, daughter Shirley Wells and 4 sisters. Survived by her daughter, Marilyn Walker of Hugo, MN; son, Keith Stotz of Mobridge, SD; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held, Saturday at 9am at Bradshaw Funeral Home in White Bear Lake, MN with burial in Rapid City, SD at a later date.
