Cletus “Red” Durnin Reeves, age 90, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2023.
Cletus grew up in St. Paul and was very close with his identical twin brother, Curt. Upon graduation from Harding High School, Cletus started a 37-year career as a pipefitter at Northern State Power. When Cletus was younger, his dream was to get married and start a family. His marriage to wife, Marlys, was a match made in heaven. They went on to have five children together, all of whom were raised on a hobby farm Clete bought for his wife. Camping and a relationship with the outdoors were important to him. Cletus will be deeply missed by his family.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marlys; parents, Madeline and Allan; siblings, Kay, Keith, Curt, and Jim; and grandsons, Jeremy and Tony.
He is survived by his children, Vicky, Shelly (Scott), Roxy, Scott (Rose), and Paul; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
