Colleen Rae Rice

Colleen Rae Rice was born October, 12, 1950, in Mankato, MN, to Donald and Pauline Rice. Colleen passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family after a short, courageous struggle with cancer on March 15, 2024. Colleen is survived by her husband, Michael Murray; step-daughters, Bridget, Megan and, Stacia Murray; siblings, Karen Colwell (David), Donald Rice (Aretta); and nieces and nephews, Katie Mikres, Andrea Markley (Harold), Raeana Rice (Trevor Mitchell), Robert Rice (Anna), and many great nieces, and nephews, and cousins.

Colleen had an extensive career in nursing; always a patient advocate. Her compassion and kindness for others also carried over to her love for animals as she provided a loving home for several rescue dogs.

Colleen was an avid gardener. She was quick to share plants, flowers, and knowledge, touching others with her passion for nature.

A Celebration of Colleen's life will be held April 3, 2024 from 2-6pm, 2024 at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater, MN.
