Passed away peacefully on 5/4/16. Born October 1st, 1941 in St. Paul. Preceeded in death by his parents Cornelius "Neil" and Attracta and his first wife Joanne. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Sandy (nee McMonigal), children Jim (Ann) Hughes, Joe (Joyce) Hughes, Dennis Hughes (Kalina Hess) and Linda Hughes (Mike Longley), grandchildren Kahla, Jeff, Jessica, Cory, Kaila, Sam, Jake and Chris, great-grandchildren Aven, Logan, Autumn and Aubri, sister Mary Maher and a huge community of extended family and friends. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his family and looking for the next great adventure, he will be missed by all of his partners in crime. Memorial service on Sunday, May 8th 3pm-6pm with a short program at 5pm at Bradshaw Stillwater 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, MN 55082
