Daniel Johnston

Dan went home to the Lord on May 22, 2025 after a brief time in the hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born July 10, 1984 and was 40 yrs old. He was preceded in death by his father Bob and step-father Curt Wiggins. He is survived by his mother Jean, Sisters Anna Brakken (Brandt Shipley) and Suzanne (Jo), niece Madeline and nephew Darrin Brakken along with many cousins and friends. After graduation in 2003 he went into HVAC installation for new residential construction. He loved the outdoors, fishing at a very early age from minnows in the bathtub and mud puddles to excursions in Canada and salmon fishing in Alaska. He could be found every weekend in the fall and winter hunting all upland birds, waterfowl and deer until the lakes froze and he could go ice fishing. He was kind, loving and funny and the best son, brother and uncle. He had a life that ended too soon and will be loved and missed every day. His celebration of life is June 12, 2025 at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 3131  Minnehaha Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55406 at 11am. A visitation will be held at 10am prior to the service. A light lunch will be available following the service at he Eagles, 2507 E 25th St, Minneapolis, MN 55406 from 12noon-3pm.
