Passed away unexpectedly after complications from surgery on October 14, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, Harold and Bernice Maki; sister, Charlene Maki. Survived by wife, Barbara; children, Sadie (Tom) Ronia, Isaiah (Tracy), Bonnie Meyer, Brian (Brenda) Meyer, Brielle AnnRieger; grandchildren, Cassandra, Alexis, Trevor, Gavin, Ariah, Winston, Ethan, and Anthony; siblings, Sandra (Myron) Meyer, Phyllis Fitts, and Paul Maki; longtime friend, Don Philipps and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Darryl worked for Twin City Fan for almost 30 years. He served proudly for 2 tours in the Armed Forces during the Vietnam War. A Celebration of Darryl's Life will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 2-4 PM at VFW Post 5555, 6715 Lake Shore Drive South, Richfield.
