David P. Kuester, Sr.

Age 78, passed away on May 9, 2026.

Born October 8, 1947 in Menomonie, Wisconsin to Virgil and Etta Kuester

A long-time resident of the East Side of St. Paul, he spent many of his working days as a manufacturer at Hartzell. David enjoyed bowling, baseball, fishing, bowling, taking the occasional road trip in his convertible, and spending time with loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angela Mesich; and grandchildren, Cameron and Caroline Kuester.

He is survived by his son, David (Kelly) Kuester; daughter, Christine (Mark) Shaw; grandchildren, Alecia, Hunter, Renee, Derrick, and Reed; as well as 5 great grandsons, Harrison, Rune, Elliot, Rory, and Spencer. He will also be missed by other extended family and friends.

Funeral and visitation will be held on July 11, 2026, at Rose of Sharon Church (6878 Jamaica, Cottage Grove, MN 55016) staring at 10am.
