Delores Witschen

WITSCHEN, Delores K. (Nentl), age 94 of Maplewood. She was born on May 6, 1927 in Herman, MN, and passed away at the Gardens at Foley on November 23, 2021. Delores attended Wheaton High School. She married Jerome at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud, MN in 1948.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; son, Michael; brothers, Bernard, Jerome, Alfred, and Eraine; and granddaughter, Christine. Survived by son, Tom; daughters, Sandra (Tom) Jamison and Connie (Robert) Flores; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Muriel Nentl and Rose Borgen; brother-in-law, Rick Kalhammer; and many nieces and nephews.

Delores and husband Jerome were members of St. Jerome’s Parish for over 40 years. With Jerome a permanent Deacon in the Archdiocese of St. Paul, and Delores an active member of the parish.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11Am on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Church of St. Jerome (380 East Roselawn Avenue, Maplewood, MN). Family and friends may visit from 10AM until the time of service. Visitation and rosary will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, from 5PM-8PM at Bradshaw Funeral Home (1078 Rice Street, St. Paul, MN). Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park following services. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
