Delwin Swanson

Delwin Swanson, age 88 of Minneapolis, passed away on Sunday, March 13. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Clara; nine siblings; daughters, Melody Lynn and Kathleen Shirley; grandson Shawn Robert. Del is survived by his children, Marsha Hussman, Larry Swanson, Cindy Mettler, Rita Mortenson, Robin Swanson; and grand-, great-grand-, and great-great-granchildren - 61 total! Swannie always worked hard to provide a stable upbringing for his kids, and maintained a sense of humor while doing it. He was a man of deep faith and was kind to everyone. He loved motorcycles, crossword puzzles, playing guitar, banjo and mandolin, and a good argument. Funeral services for Del will be held 10AM Monday, March 21 at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South. Visitation will be 2-6PM Sunday, March 20 and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials to the family preferred.
