Dennis J Carpentier Jr.

Age 62 of Minneapolis passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 28, 2025 after a year long battle with cancer.

Dennis is preceded in death by many close friends and relatives.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Ashley (Esha); the love of his life of over 27 years Jenie; parents Dennis "Butch" and Carole Carpentier; brothers Joe (Lori), Jeff (Sunny), and Scott; 3 nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Dennis was born in Minneapolis on June 15th, 1963 where he spent the majority of his life. Dennis entered the Army in 1982 before beginning his career as a Forklift Operator at the Minneapolis Convention Center. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the Island as well as spending time with family and friends. He had a deep love of music, whether he was listening to it-often accompanied by his wild dancing- playing an instrument himself, or singing.

A service celebrating his life will take place on Sunday, October 5th, at Bradshaw, 3131 Minnehaha Ave, from noon to 4p.m. The celebration will continue at The Schooner Bar, 2901 27th Ave S Mpls MN following the service.
