Dennis A McKean

Age 84 of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on September 3rd, 2025.

He is preceded in death by wife Linda; parents Levi "Andy" and Hazel McKean.

He is survived by children Shawn (Sharon), Kelly, and Tracy (Kevin) Campeau; grandchildren Amanda Jacobson and Liam McKean; brothers Doug and Brian "Bumpy."

Dennis spent his career serving his community, retiring after many years as manager of the Stillwater Water Department.

Dennis was a man who lived simply, but fully, grounded in the values he held most dear: faith, family, and Ford. He found joy in the outdoors, whether it was casting a line on a quiet morning, heading out for a hunt, or spending time on the golf course with friends. His love of tractors was well known, and to Dennis, there was no debate-they had to be red, never green.

Above all, Dennis cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who made sure the people he loved knew how important they were to him. His steady presence, quick smile, and easy laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Though he has left this world, Dennis's legacy of love, humor, and faith will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A service celebrating Dennis' life will take place at Salem Lutheran Church, 14940 62nd St N, Stillwater on Wednesday, September 10th at 11:30 with a visitation beginning at 10:30.

Memorial donations may be made out in Dennis' name to Salem Lutheran Church.
