Donald Lewis passed away peacefully at home on May 14, 2022 after bravely living with cancer. He is survived by his partner of 40 years, Annette Vess; children, Reginald Holden, Ronald Lewis, Shannon Lewis, Angie Vess; grandchildren, Donovan, Ariana, Jordan, Reginald Jr, Brandice, Ronald Jr, Sarbrielle, Sanaa, SaDora, Shardae, Sy'ere; great-grandchildren, Haley and Braden; siblings, Lynda, Dede, Honey, James, Earl, Jesse, LeRoy; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae; son, Robert Vess; sister, Rabbit.
Don was handy and could fix anything. He loved music, fishing, and playing cards. He loved to smile and loved to bring a smile to the faces of those around him.
Memorial service will be 4:00 Thursday, May 26 at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street, with visitation beginning at 2pm.
