Age 75

Don was born in Harvey ND, on Easter Sunday April 5, 1942, and went to be with his Savior on Good Friday, April 14, 2017, after a ten-year battle with Multiple Myeloma.
Proceeded in death by his father, Reinhart Opp, and brother, Jerry Opp. Survived by his wife, Myrna (nee Kern), mother, Marie (Sprenger) Opp, sisters Lorene (Larry) Dobbs and Arlene (Bob) Brice, daughters Tawny (Randy) Christenson, Tricia (Chad) Gibson, Heidi (Randy) Gnadke, and Shara (Kirk) Anderson, 14 grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Don was a hardworking man and gifted craftsman who enjoyed building, creating, and working on antique toys. But above all, he was a man who loved Jesus, loved life, loved his family, and loved helping people. We are thankful to God for his life and example. Visitation 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 at Bradshaw Celebration Center, 4600 Greenhaven Drive White Bear Lake, MN 55127. Funeral 11 am on Wednesday, April 19 at First Free Church, 2696 Hazelwood Street Maplewood, MN 55109
