Donald Warn

Donald Theodore Warn died June 4, 2023, at the age of 89 at The Estates at Roseville, in Roseville, MN.

He leaves his beloved wife of 65 years, JoAnn; as well as his sister, Eleanor Skelton of Superior, WI; his sons, Steven (Becky) Warn and David (Renae) Warn; four grandchildren, Joshua Warn, Rachel Warn, Keaton Warn and Carter Warn.

Donald was born in Superior, Wisconsin to Harold and Hildar on November 15, 1933. He shared his birthday with his granddaughter Rachel.

He went to school in Superior. He met JoAnn at Superior State. They married on July 6, 1957 in Luck, WI. He graduated from Superior State and got his masters at The University of Minnesota in counseling. He worked for Chippewa Middle School as a school counselor. He was involved in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) as a small group leader for many years, on the elder board at Calvary Church and mentoring men at the Union Gospel Mission. He and JoAnn enjoyed the cabin that they purchased and he spent many happy hours planting and working on the landscaping of the cabin. He said that the cabin was his pride and joy. Ater they sold the cabin he enjoyed gardening at their townhome.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Calvary Church, 2120 N. Lexington Ave, Roseville, MN. Visitation at 10 am, service at 11 am on Saturday June 24th. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
