Donald & Judy Kadidlo (Hudson, WI)

With both sorrow and peace in our hearts we announce the recent deaths of our parents, Donald and Judith Kadidlo of Hudson, WI. The couple had been married for nearly 65 years. Don, 93, a retired teacher, guidance counselor and coach for the Hudson Schools, died on March 9. Judy, 84, the church organist at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for four decades, as well as a landscape professional and floral designer, passed away less than a month later on April 7.

Don and Judy were proud grandparents of 11, and just recently had become great-grandparents. They were prominent supporters of their grandchildren’s extra-curricular activities and took great interest in their various passions and pursuits. Don and Judy were also home-improvement experts, using their handiwork skills on projects in many homes, two cabins and their beloved church. Together they also built their woodland dream home that Judy designed (with self-taught training), doing most of the construction work themselves as well.

Don and Judy are survived by four children: Kevin (Diane) Kadidlo; Kris (Paul) Ammerman; Phil (Robin) Kadidlo; and Heidi (Mike) Bohlken. They will be dearly missed by grandchildren Ashton, Christian, Jack, Jake, Jared, Jessica, Kyle, Nathan, Noah, Rachel, Riley, and great-granddaughter Emma.

A celebration of life service for this beloved couple is planned for Tuesday, June 13, 2PM, at St. Paul’s Episcopal, 502 Co Rd UU, Hudson, WI. A reception at the church will follow. The family requests no flowers, and instead encourages memorial gifts to St. Paul’s.
