Went to be with her Lord on November 23, 2011 surrounded by her family and special friend, Mary Beth. Preceded in death by husbands, Ed Rubbelke and Cletus "Mac" McArdle; parents, William and Julia; siblings,Clarence, William, Harry, Kenneth, Howard, Bernice Moldenhaurer, Helen Larson, Loraine Crews, Dolores Hartigan and Mary Ann Boyle; and her beloved dog, Bernie. Survivors include her sisters, Eileen Allan and Jeanette Sladek; many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Dorothy was a friend to all. Her smile, spirit and positive attitude will be dearly missed. Memorials preferred to the Humane Society of Minnesota or Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mass of Christian Burial 9:00 AM Tuesday, November 29 at the CHURCH OF ST. LOUIS, KING OF FRANCE, 506 Cedar Street, St. Paul. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
