Douglas Michael Rose

Age 64 of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on July 27th, 2026.

Doug was born on July 5th, 1962 in St. Paul, to Jim Lindorff and Donna Rose. He was

the second of four children. He started his career as a/n Conventional Services

Supervisor for Hyatt Regency of Downtown Minneapolis and went on to work for 38

years before he retired in 2020 . He was often described as having a big personality and

a compassionate heart. Highly respected and coveted by his team during his tenure.

In 1980 Doug fell in love with Kathy Almquist. The couple settled in Minneapolis, MN

where they raised three children, Daniel, Tony and Keri.

Doug loved fishing, connecting with friends and family over a bonfire, tinkering and

fixing things, riding his motorcycles, and barbecuing. He was always a diligent hard

worker with a big heart and will be greatly missed.

Doug was preceded in death by his mother Donna, father Jim and brothers David and

Duane. He is survived by his wife Kathy, his three children (Daniel, Tony and Keri), four

grandchildren (Emma 18, Maddie 13, Jordan 9, and Isaiah 8).
