Douglas Sontag (71) passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024 while surrounded by his family.

Douglas is a generous soul, a caregiver and protector of those he loves. He has a strong work ethic and a deep love for his family and friends.

A loving husband to Diane, married for 41 years. He is a pillar of strength and support for his family. He is a devoted and loving father to his three kids who will dearly miss him, his love, guidance and humor.

Douglas is preceded in death by Margaret (mother) and Gervise (father). He is survived by his wife, three children, and 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, many nieces and nephews and his friends who will all dearly miss him.

Memorial service will be at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Avenue, White Bear at 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 26, 2024 with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
A Celebration of Doug's Life will take place from 3pm - 7pm at VFW Post 1350 2483 7th Ave E, St Paul, MN 55109.
