Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne W Johnson, age 87, of Oakdale, Minnesota passed away on January 28, 2016.
Dwayne was born on April 19, 1928, in Warroad, Minnesota to Edgar and Lois (Knudson) Johnson.
He was raised in the Warroad area and graduated from Williams High School in 1946. After graduation, his family moved to St. Paul, and he began his long career working at 3M. This is when he met and married MaryAnn, the girl next door. Together they raised two children, Victoria and Carol in Stillwater, MN.
He later married Jewell Sherrard Thorsheim and have been together for over 28 years.
Dwayne was an avid "collector" and had a passion for politics. He was a founding member of the Minne-Mine Credit Union (now Novation Credit Union), serving 3M employees and their families, and held several positions. Dwayne & Julie enjoyed traveling to several areas of Minnesota & Wisconsin throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Roger Schultz.
Dwayne is survived by his wife, Julie; sisters, Phyllis (Joe) Rattinger, Evelyn Schultz, and brother Keith (Donna) Johnson; his children Victoria (Bill) Milton of Round Rock, TX and Carol (Cory) Zupfer of Hastings, MN; grandsons, Scott (Jean) Hertel, David Milton, Travis Zupfer and Jared Zupfer; great-granddaughters, Reese and Riley Hertel; stepgrandchildren Kari (Jason) Peterson and Brad (Jamie) Mason and their children; numerous nephews; stepchildren, Terry & Christina and Laurie, and their children and grandchildren.
Private inurnment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Marine-on-the-St Croix.
