Edward Reid

Passed away peacefully on August 9th at Boutwell's Landing in Oak Park Heights, Minnesota. Ed is survived by his wife Dorothy; children: Ann, Nancy (Rob Roach), David (Laurie Rhodes) and Peter (Tracey); grandchildren: Ed (Stacey), Julianne (Corey) Ann and Kate Roach, Blake Reid, Kelly Reid, Lauren Reid, Alex Reid, Elizabeth Reid; and great granddaughters Adeline and Kennedy. Under his direction from 1961 to 2000, the family business, The Park Nurseries grew and prospered. He was passionate about giving back - but anonymously - so while his generosity of time and money are not public, all who knew him know his many contributions to this community which he left a much better place. Some of them include Presbyterian Homes & Services of MN, Board of Directors; Washington County H.S.I., Board; Presbyterian Homes Foundation, MN Nursery & Landscape Association, Past President; Kiwanis, Past President; Roselawn Cemetery, Board of Directors., etc. Wed., August 12th there will be a visitation at 4:30 followed by a 5:00 memorial service, refreshments and lemon meringue pie up to 7:30 in the Swanson Memorial Chapel and Town Hall at Boutwell's Landing, 5600 Norwich Pkwy., Oak Park Heights, MN 55082. In lieu of flower, memorials are preferred to Presbyterian Homes at Boutwell's Landing.
