Elizabeth "Betty" Skok,

Age 85 of Saint Paul passed away on Wednesday September 20th 2023.

Betty was born and raised in the Highland Park area to Ervan and Marion Stephens. She is the middle of three; her sister Peg and brother Tony. She proudly attended Derham Hall High School and the College of St. Catherine's with a degree in Home Economics. She met Gene through his sister Ellie. They married in 1961 and moved to College Park, Maryland right after their wedding. They returned to Minnesota in 1963, had four kids and lived happily in Maplewood for 37 years. They then moved to White Bear Lake and finally North Oaks.

Betty and Gene had lots of friends and they both enjoyed bowling, playing bridge and going to their cabin in Luck, WI. She thoroughly enjoyed being Grammy to her grandchildren. She was very proud of being 100% Irish. Her family is comforted knowing that she is with Gene and Mike again as well as many other friends and family members.

She is preceded in death by her son Mike; husband of over 60 years Gene; grandsons, Riley and Sam; brother, Tony; Sister, Peg; and her parents.

She will be sadly missed by her children Eileen (Greg) Soler, Barb (Jim) Zimniewicz, and Steve; Daughter-in-Law, Sara; Grandchildren, Sophie, Max, Charlie, Emme, and Liam; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Her family extends their gratitude to Waverly Gardens and Health Partners Hospice for their loving care.

The funeral service will be on Friday, September 29 at St. Jerome Church, 380 Roselawn Ave E, at 11:00 AM with a visitation starting two hours prior.
