Ellen Mae Wier

Age 90, of Lake Elmo, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 7, 2024.  

Preceded in death by husband, Bob; parents, Edward and Jessie Richert; and brother, Dean Richert. 

Survived by sons, Jed (Darla) and Dick (Anne); grandchildren, Seth (Onnalee), Logan (Brooke), Bob (Sami) and Mandy (Justin) Svendsen; great-grandchildren, Callahan, Hank, Beau, Levi and Sawyer; brother, Jim Richert; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Ellen was an avid quilter and a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lake Elmo.

A celebration of Ellen’s life will be Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 11194 – 36th Street North, Lake Elmo with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
