Age 85, of Stillwater passed away peacefully and gracefully June 27, 2015 at Lakeview Hospital. Vangy was born in St. Paul, MN on March 15, 1930, and Mother Nature celebrated her with a 62 degree day. She was fond of her Ides of March birthday and whether it was a blizzard or a harbinger of spring every birthday was special to her. She had successful career as supervisor in the trust department at First Trust St. Paul/US Bank, retired and then became manager of the municipal bond department at American Bank in her second career. A lifelong dedicated reader, she voraciously consumed printed media in book, newspaper, and magazine form and loved to discuss the political and cultural events of the day, be they local, state, national or worldwide. Her other passions included classical music and her deep love for animals and the special bond we share with our pets. She is survived by her son, Harry J. Seidenkranz, Jr.; daughter, Summer Seidenkranz (Clark Schroeder); granddaughters, Andrea and Dayle Seidenkranz and Malia andHannah Schroeder, and her beloved cat Archie. A visitation will be held THURSDAY, July 2nd from 4-8 PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd(NW Corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater with a time of remembrance at 6:30 PM. Memorials preferred to The Animal Humane Society of MN or the Bayport Library. Vangy loved her perennial garden and would be honored by your garden bouquets at the visitation. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff and especially the MICU nurses at Lakeview Hospital.
