Ferris Chamberlin Service - Livestream
Ferris Wayne Chamberlin, a beloved husband, engineer, and devoted friend, passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 72.
Ferris earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering at the University of Minnesota. He later received his Master's degree in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University, setting the stage for a distinguished career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Ferris' was a loving husband to Dorothy with whom he celebrated 52 joyful years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to love, partnership, and lifelong commitment. Together, they created a vibrant family life filled with laughter, and travel.
An avid fan of the Minnesota Gophers, Ferris also found joy on the golf course and cherished opportunities to travel the world, embracing different cultures and experiences with an adventurous spirit. His sense of humor and genuine kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Ferris is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Evelyn Chamberlin, and his brother, Preston Chamberlin. He is survived by his devoted wife, Dorothy; his sister, Joanne Lavin; and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will forever remember his humor, intellect, and kindness.
A celebration of Ferris' life will occur on June 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, MN 55082, where family and friends will come together to honor his legacy and share cherished memories. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Ferris's spirit will continue to shine through the lives he touched, reminding us to live fully, love deeply, and approach life with a sense of adventure.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ferris's name to the American Heart Association.
