Passed away peacefully on Feb. 1, 2010. Preceded in death by sons, Florentino Jr., Richard, Raymond, Tony Valdez; brothers, Salome and Napolean. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Esther; children, Mary Jo Gonzalez, Christina (Hector) Caballero, Tony (Lori) Martinez, Rosie Mercado, Susie Alsides, Raymond Valdez; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren ; siblings, Paula Garcia, Caroline (Joe), Louie (Rita), Jimmy (Carmita), Dolores (Jane); other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM,Friday at OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CHURCH, 401 Concord St., St. Paul. Visitation Thursday from 4PM to 8PM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street at Magnolia and one hour prior to Mass at Church on Friday. Private family interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are welcomed.
