Frank was born February 27, 1934 in St Paul, Minnesota to Frank Bruns Sr. and Margret Bruns. He was the eldest of six (6) children.
Frank was preceded in death by his Parents; wife, Marge; son, James; and two (2) of his siblings, Marlene, and Rose.

He is survived by his sister, Ann; and brothers, Don and Fred; children, Mark (Debbie) Bruns, Stephanie Green, Rita (Paul) DeVange, and Karl Bruns; grandchildren, Daren, Tyler, Rebecca, Jaques, and Danielle; great grandchildren, Makayla, Erik, Maxwell, and Soren; and great great grandchild, Ronin; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Frank was born and raised in St Paul, graduated from Washington high school, excelling at all things mechanical, and attended National Business College. Years 1954-56 saw Frank in the US Army where he served during the Korean war, while stationed in Germany. Frank traveled the European continent extensively while stationed there. After the service, his training in diesel mechanics became his lifetime career. Frank, like most returning GI's, found love and started a family. He loved his family, farming, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, biking, investing and projects. Frank was a humble, kind, and generous man whose superpower was his Catholic faith, and he relished sharing it with anyone who cared to chat.

His funeral Mass will take place at St Bernards Catholic Church, (187 Geranium Ave. West, St Paul, MN) on Thursday, June 4th at 11AM:00 AM. Visitation one hour before at 10:00 AM. Memorial Donations may be made in Franks name to St. Bernards Church
