Life member and secretary of Ark Lodge # 176 A.F. & A.M., Scottish and York Rite and many organizations of Zuhrah Temple, Mpls Post Office Band, American Legion Post Office Post # 540. Preceded in death by loving wife, Mae. Survived by children, John (Karen) Urness and Myra (Chuck Lindsoe) Urness; grandsons, Adam Christopher and Andrew James; sisters-in-law, Anita Thomson and Corrine Urness and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Interment Service, Wednesday, 10:45 a.m. at FORT SNELLING NATIONAL CEMETERY (Assembly 2). Memorial Service Wednesday 12:30 p.m. at SALEM ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 610 W. 28th St., Mpls.
