Age 104, of Friendship Village, Bloomington, MN. Born in Hanley Falls, MN to parents, Ole Lokensgaard and Anna Romtvedt. Preceded in death by ten siblings; first wife, Maxine Kadletz; second wife, Helen Hennessey; and granddaughter, Kirsten. Survived by children, Ann, Alan, and Arvid; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. A graduate of St. Olaf College and Luther Seminary, he pastored Lutheran churches in Belfield and Hettinger, ND, Humboldt, IA and Glendive, MT. During World War II he served as a U.S. Navy chaplain and later as a chaplain at the Veterans Hospitals in Fargo and Minneapolis. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at FRIENDSHIP VILLAGE, 8100 Highwood Drive, Bloomington. Memorials preferred to Normandale Lutheran Church, Luther Seminary, or St. Olaf College.
