Gail Borden-Heinzen

June 12, 1945 - July 28, 2025

Gail left us peacefully on July 28th, 2025. She is survived by her son Robert, daughter Josie (husband Jason), her five grandchildren, Brittany, Kassandra, Aidan, Audrey & Sophia and great-granddaughter, Evalyn.

Gail was born in Minneapolis, MN to Harry and Majorie Borden. She attended Robbinsdale high school where she was a member of the marching band. Music was a lifelong passion of hers. Most of her career was spent in the medical field, with the majority spent at Ramsey County Public Health. After she retired, she volunteered at Community Thread. She loved animals and doted on her dog, Jordan.

She was a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching her grandkids in sports and concerts and always went above and beyond to make our family's time together special. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A celebration of Gail's life will be held at a later date.
