Gerald "Jerry" Vincent Anderson

Gerald "Jerry" Vincent Anderson, 99, of North Oaks, MN, and formerly of Roseville, MN, passed away on August 25, 2026. He was born on June 15, 1927 in Ceylon, MN.

Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores, who passed away in 2011; his parents, Hjalmar and Gertrude; and his four siblings, Girard, John, Joseph, and Teresa.

Jerry enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school in 1945. He was assigned to radar training in Chicago and received an honorable discharge in 1946.

He enjoyed a distinguished 34-year career with 3M Company, serving as an International Controller. His work took him around the world and showcased both his financial expertise and his ability to build lasting relationships.

His commitment to others extended well beyond his military service and professional life.

Outside of his professional life, Jerry enjoyed tennis, running, softball, and the friendships he formed through those pursuits. Above all, he treasured time with his family, caring devotedly for his wife, Dolores, during her journey with Alzheimer's disease and for his brother, John, during the last several years of his life.

Jerry was a devoted father to Troy Jeff Anderson (Mandy) of West Des Moines, IA; Patti Magnus (Jeff) of Inver Grove Heights, MN; Mike Anderson (Carole) of Afton, MN; and Rick Anderson (Kathy) of North Oaks, MN. He was also a cherished grandfather of seven (Michael, Kelly, Emily, Austin, Casey, Burke, Olivia) and great-grandfather of four (Wesley, Porter, Ella, Wells).

Jerry will be remembered with deep love and gratitude for his devotion to faith and family, and a long life marked by friendships and service to others.

A memorial service will be held on September 3, 2026, at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake, Minnesota 55127. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at North Oaks Golf Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Waverly Gardens to support the Employee Relief Fund or the Benevolence Fund. Contributions can be made online through the Presbyterian Homes Foundation. Please note "Waverly Gardens - In Memory of Gerald Anderson" on the memo line.
