Gerald Scalze

Gerald Eugene Scalze passed peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Jerry was a son, younger brother, husband, dad, and grandpa. Jerry was so proud to keep up the history of what his dad, Ralph, did in starting the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union. Jerry knew almost everything about the Teamsters Union and he could talk about it all day. He loved keeping that history alive. 

In his younger years, Jerry would take his family of 5, which included his wife, Mary Kay, and his three daughters, Michelle, Jody and Julie to Lotus Lake, in Chanhassen. Almost every weekend in the summer months they would boat all day until it was time to go out to eat. The family did that for years while his children grew up in the Eden Prairie School District. 

He was a lover of bowling and was in bowling leagues for years. Jerry can now live his ever lasting life with God, and is out of pain, and can breathe freely.
