Gerald (Jerry) Walter

In Loving Memory of Gerald "Jerry" Walter Meyer

Gerald (Jerry) Walter Meyer was born on November 28, 1944, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He spent his childhood and formative years in St. Paul, where he established strong roots and lifelong connections.

After completing four years of dedicated service with the United States Marine Corps, Jerry returned to St. Paul with his beloved wife, Linda. Their marriage spanned 51 years, marked by enduring love and partnership.

Jerry devoted 40 years of his professional life to the City of Maplewood. Upon retirement, he and Linda fulfilled their dream of lake living by moving to a home on Lake Osakis.

On October 6, 2025, Jerry passed away in his home at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by wife, Linda; and brother, Jim. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Heather; granddaughter, Jordyn; brothers, Bob, Butch, John; and sister, Cheryl.

Family and friends are invited to honor Jerry's life at a Celebration of Life at 11:00am on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, with visitation at 10:00am and a luncheon to follow.

While we appreciate your thoughtfulness, in lieu of flowers, we would prefer a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or plant a tree.
