Gloria Ophus

Gloria was born May 8, 1946, in Crookston to parents Arthur and Martha Gagner.

She married her high school sweetheart Richard Ophus on October 16,1965 and built their home in Hugo to create lifelong memories with family and friends.

Gloria was a proud and loving mother to her three children: Mark (Kris), Tammy and Wade (Theresa). She was a devoted grandma to: Aly (Mike), Philip, James, Cody, Wyatt, Brooke (Matt), Jake, Tiffany (Kevin), Amanda (Mitch), Cydnie (Jordan) and Spencer (Palmer). Great grandchildren; Mary, Lila, Addi, Oakley, Kolton, Aynsley, Brooks, Huxley and Raeleigh.

She loved spending time with her siblings; brothers: Gary (Mireille), Dale (Carol), Dennis (Sue), (Joann), Vern, Rich (Deb), Nick (Sheila), Roger (Renee) and Lauren (Deb). Sister: Donna (Ron) Moses.

Sisters-in-laws: Denise Overmoen, Bette Kluck, Gerry (Dan) LaVoi and (Judy Ophus). Many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by son-in-law Bill Engstrom; parents Arthur and Martha; brother Russ Gagner, twin sisters Cathrine and Elizabeth; bothers-in-law Paul Ophus, Lloyd Overmoen; sister-in-law Janice Gagner; precious niece Kim Gagner.

Gloria was the heart of her family - known for her warmth, kindness and nurturing spirit. She dedicated her life to creating a home filled with comfort, laughter and unconditional love.

She will be deeply missed by all who know her and her legacy will live on through her family and memories she leaves behind.
