Gloria Stencel

Gloria “Jeany” Stencel, 62, of Mapleton / Minneapolis / Dorset, Minnesota, passed away on September 14, 2025.

She was born on December 13, 1962, to Loren and Dolores Denn in Mankato, Minnesota.

Gloria graduated from Mapleton High School to then move into the cities and later up north to Park Rapids/Dorset and work at the Heartland Trail Bed & Breakfast for 18 wonderful years.

She is survived by her partner Mitch Driscoll; sons, Joshua and Patrick (Kaylee); her 8 siblings; Steve (Joyce), Rick (Gloria*), Gary (Laura*), Bruce (Lorry), Karen (Sig), Barbara (Jim), Lori (Jeff), Patti (David); and her extended family and friends (too many to name here).

A celebration of life will be held on October 4th, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Mapleton, Minnesota’s Community Center.
