Jacquelyn Joy "Jackie" Magler

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Jacquelyn (Jackie) Joy Magler, age 56 of Stillwater, MN who passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2022.

Jackie was born in Stillwater, Minnesota and was loved by all who knew her.  She leaves behind her loving husband Jeff of 34 years, and her three children, Jared, Jordan and Samantha whom she cherished.  Jackie also leaves behind her mother, Beverley Kraemer; and father-in-law, Richard Magler; Jackie’s five siblings, Tim Hinson, Sue Gogerty (Tim), Randa Hinson, Pamela Polzin, Jamie Cayo (Chuck); brother-in-law, Rick Magler; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Springstroh (Paul), Wendy Smith (Jeff) as well as many nieces, and nephews who adored her.

Jackie was preceded in death by her daughter, Emalee; her father, Clinton Johnston; her stepfather, Armin Kraemer; and mother-in-law, Nancy Magler.

Jackie ran her own business Hair by Jackie, and also worked at Art and Soul in downtown Stillwater.

Jackie was a devout Christian and always put God first in all she did. She was selfless and gave her time generously always ready to help anyone in need.  She had a great sense of humor and quick wit.  Another one of Jackie’s joy was exploring the beauty and vastness of God’s creation, she was very adventurous, and loved to travel collecting many treasures of rocks and shells along the way.  She had an artistic touch and tried her hand at many creations, including painting, basket weaving, scrap booking, quilting, and sewing.  She also enjoyed playing pickle ball and cards.

Jackie left us all too early, although she did more in her 56 years than most do in a lifetime.  Jackie had a big heart and knew how to love everyone she came in contact with.  She Loved God, she loved her husband, she loved her children, she loved her family, and she loved her many friends.
