Jacquelyn Stranberg McIntyre

Jacquelyn Stranberg McIntyre, 82, of Oak Park Heights MN, passed away on May 31st, 2025 after a brief illness.

Jackie was born on May 26th, 1942, to Burton and Evelyn Stranberg in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Washburn High School (Minneapolis) in 1961 and went on to study at Drake University in Des Moines Iowa. There she met her husband of 35 years Scott H McIntyre. She finished her schooling at The University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. During her career she worked as truant officer, grocery sales representative, and a mortgage closer.

Scott and Jackie got married August 21st, 1965. They had two children, Scott and Christopher and three grandchildren: Matthew, Nicholas, and Benjamin. She enjoyed traveling all over the world with Scott and spending time with her family. She loved going to her grandchildren's baseball and hockey games and getting together for family gatherings and celebrations. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Evelyn Stranberg; and husband, Scott H McIntyre. She is survived by her sons, Scott (Bridget) McIntyre and Christopher McIntyre; and her three grandsons, Matthew, Nicholas, and Benjamin McIntyre. As well as her cousins, Jack (Lynn) and Edwin (Alison) Stranberg.
