A celebration of Jim?s life will be Thursday, 11:00AM at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 11194 North 36th Street, Lake Elmo. Private interment. A gathering of family & friends will be Wednesday,5:00 ? 8:00PM AT THE CHURCH & also 1 hour prior to the service.
Jim died suddenly on June 24, 2006. He was born October 5, 1939 in Stillwater, MN to Minerva & John Bjorkman. He was a retired Lake Elmo Firefighter & longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, sisters, Ramona Semple & Kaye Polzin; brother, John Bjorkman. Survived by wife, Barbara; daughters, Shelley Rice & Sheryl Bjorkman; son, Todd (Diana) Bjorkman; grandchildren, Calysta & Jonathan Rice, Ariana Fossler & Logan Bjorkman; brothers, Joe, Jay, Jerry & Judd; sisters, Ava, Jessie, January & Jean; mother-in-law, Ella Nippoldt; many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
