Age 84 of Shafer
Passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2024. Survived by sons, Chris (Sheila), David (Paula), Michael (Nicole Cran); grandchildren, Kristen (Jon) Stotts, MacKenzie, Benjamin, Drew (Molly Regan), Parker, Paige; great-grandchildren, Emma, Ellie; siblings, Darlene White. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Evelyn; former wife, Karen Wulfing; brother, Gerald.
Jimbo attended Harding High School and worked as an engineer at 3M. He was married to Karen Riemenschneider for 33 years, and together they raised their three boys. Traveling, campingand playing cards were favorite pastimes, and he never met a pastry he didn’t like. He was a man who was firm in his convictions and guided by his faith. He loved his family. His single greatest joy was when his whole family was together.
According to Jim’s wishes, there will be a small private family gathering at a later date. Memorials preferred to HourOfPower.org.
